Matthias Stippich PhD
MAS ETH, Architect and Urban Planner
Matthias Stippich is an Associate Partner at ASTOC and has extensive experience in architecture and urban planning. As a qualified architect and urban planner, he oversees projects on various scales, ranging from individual architectural schemes to large-scale regeneration areas. His work focuses on the development of urban and architectural concepts against the backdrop of digitalisation and limited planetary resources. He pays particular attention to the development of regional centres and rural areas, with their specific spatial and architectural challenges.
He works at the interface of city and architecture and deals with questions of social and spatial transformation. Through his teaching activities, including at the OST, KIT Karlsruhe, TU Munich and ETH Zurich, he combines research and practice. His expertise is regularly in demand at specialist events and discussion forums.
