Britta Schümmer
Dipl.-Ing. Architect
Britta Schümmer is an Associate Partner at ASTOC and has extensive experience in architectural and urban planning projects. Her professional career includes many years of work in Dutch planning firms and in local government planning, enabling her to bring a variety of technical and organisational perspectives to her work. In particular, she is responsible for the content and coordination of strategic urban development processes in major cities, such as the ‘Kölner Perspektiven 2030+’ city strategy and the masterplan for Hamburg’s Magistralen. She works with interdisciplinary teams and shapes processes involving a wide range of project stakeholders. A key focus of her work lies in managing complex projects with an understanding of integrated processes, diverse stakeholder interests, and communicative and design requirements. As part of the management team, she is expanding the Business Development division and strengthening the company’s content-related and structural development.
