Barbara Witten
Dipl.-Ing. Architektin

Barbara Witten is a partner at ASTOC and a member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of ASTOC AG in Basel. As a long-standing employee at the Cologne office, her project work took her to Switzerland, where she founded ASTOC AG together with Ingo Kanehl and Andreas Kühn in 2020. She shapes the Swiss location through her professional expertise and constant cooperation with public and private clients on site. Its focus is on the in-depth planning and implementation of challenging building construction projects in Germany and Switzerland. It realizes a diverse range of uses: from high-quality inner-city residential buildings such as the Meinen Areal in Bern, to office, hotel and restaurant buildings that shape the cityscape, to complex laboratory and research buildings, such as the University of Bern’s Medical Research and Training Center. With a combination of architectural expertise and strategic networking, she leads planning teams in Cologne and Basel and has firmly positioned ASTOC in the Swiss planning landscape.
