The strategic basis for this transformation is the relocation of the B 224 into a tunnel. Only this infrastructural intervention creates the space to eliminate the decades-long separation of the districts of Mitte, Butendorf and Ellinghorst.  <\/p><p>Together with the planning group, we have developed a 31-hectare open space network on the resulting tunnel cover.
