Topping-out ceremony for 150 apartments in Bonn
The "Constance" project by Swiss Life Asset Managers in Poppelsdorfer Allee
The topping-out ceremony was held on Poppelsdorfer Allee in Bonn's Südstadt district.
On the site formerly used by Zurich Versicherung, Swiss Life Asset Managers are developing the "Constance" project. Based on ASTOC's urban design concept from 2016, a mixed-use neighborhood with over 300 residential units is being created.
ASTOC Architects and Planners have completed the design planning of the first phase of construction by early 2020. Now the topping-out ceremony was celebrated on May 11, 2023. In the new quarter on Poppelsdorfer Allee, 39 socially subsidized and 111 privately financed apartments will be built in five buildings.
And ASTOC are also active in the second construction phase; in 2022, ASTOC's contribution to the facade competition for the new buildings on the site of the former Hotel Bristol was awarded 1st prize.
